Triathlon Training Description Triathlon training is normally, weekly sessions that meet for 2 hours on either Saturday or Sunday morning beginning at 6:00am. Training begins in the pool, which can include a subset of the following: warm-up, drills, time training, distance training, breath training, stroke adjustment, etc. There is a transition time period where participants change into biking/running gear. Biking is completed on spin bike and clip pedals are available but their use is not required. Bike training consists of cadence and resistance training, bike fit, physical positioning and other aspects of biking are discussed. Run training consists of treadmill, track and outside running and each session a different aspect of running is focused upon. These areas of training can include but are not limited to speed, distance, incline, etc. After the session is complete all participants stretch and Chip is available for questions.
